Out To Lunch Restaurant Group began in 2011 with a simple idea: bring fresh, creative seafood to a landlocked market in a way that felt approachable, unexpected, and genuinely memorable. With decades of combined culinary and hospitality experience behind the vision, the first Lucky Fins opened in Meridian, Idaho - and laid the foundation for what would become a growing collection of restaurant concepts.

What started with seafood quickly evolved into something bigger. Guests connected with the energy, hospitality, and variety of the Fins experience, from fresh seafood and sushi to thoughtfully crafted grill favorites, cocktails, and craveable dishes designed for every kind of diner.

As the brand grew, so did the vision. Smokin Fins was introduced as a more refined take on the original seafood-forward concept, bringing a deeper, more elevated atmosphere to new markets across Colorado and Idaho. Lucky Fins and Smokin Fins remain the cornerstones of our restaurant group, built around quality ingredients, fresh flavors, and hospitality that keeps guests coming back.

In 2023, we expanded beyond the Fins family with Acero Boards & Bottles in Downtown Boise. Located on The Grove, Acero brings an elevated yet approachable dining experience to the heart of the city, featuring Italian-inspired shareable plates, pastas, curated wines, craft cocktails, and one of Boise’s most-loved patios.

Today, Out To Lunch Restaurant Group represents more than one concept or cuisine. We are a growing restaurant group rooted in hospitality, creativity, and the belief that great food is only part of what makes a dining experience memorable.
